Dr. Hippler is the Associate Regional Director at OSF Medical Group and a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Illinois College of Medicine. Dr. Hippler received his B.S. from Millikin University and his medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine. He completed his internal medicine residency at Mayo Graduate School of Medicine and is board certified in internal medicine. Dr. Hippler is also a certified clinical research investigator. His research interests include diabetes, type 2 diabetes, hypertension and metabolic syndrome. Dr. Hippler has conducted many clinical trials focused on diabetes medications. He received the President’s Award from PARC in 2002. Dr. Hippler is also a fellow of the American College of Physicians.
